How does it work?
The Cecather System is based on the arrangement of a series of radiant sheets integrated into the floor itself by means of a control, both of the flooring and of the environment, emitting a soft heat radiation to the rooms.
The scope of application of Cecather sheets is directed towards residential use (residential buildings, singular buildings, single-family homes, industrial buildings, commercial premises, etc.) although the System takes a special role in home renovations, since the sheets installed under a floating floor practically do not alter its height.
Does it consume a lot compared to other systems?
No. Our system incorporates perfect thermal insulation, which significantly improves the quality of the home, contributing to energy savings and efficiency.
Is it necessary to add some kind of extra heat emitter to the system?
No. One of its great advantages is the total absence of radiators, boilers and fuel tanks. The client will forget the cleaning of burners, water leaks, etc. The system is enough to heat the house with maximum comfort.
How is the heating controlled?
The system is controlled in each zone by Wi-Fi chronothermostats that are adapted to the requested room temperature, since the chronothermostat includes a probe. Taking advantage of any heat source close to the system at all times (solar, light, people).
It is said that this heating can cause circulation problems, is it true?
No. The heat emitted from the pavement will never exceed 29ºC, according to IT.IC.02.11 since it is controlled by a probe thermostat (regulates the temperature of the pavements). Sanitarily speaking, this system is recommended by professionals, since it does not influence the natural humidity of the environment, eliminating respiratory and allergic problems caused by other conventional systems. In fact, installations have been made in Clinics, Hospitals, Health Centers, etc.
In the event of a breakdown, would the entire pavement have to be raised?
No. First, the Cecather Radiant Sheet goes through a rigorous control, being previously tested by our operators in the manufacturing process, once the installation of the heating system is finished, before laying the screeds and finally after the screeds. Here is the difference in relation to other radiant systems, and the fact that independent sheets are distributed in each space, thus not being a continuous circuit. Each sheet is identified with a number, duly assigned in the system distribution project. It also incorporates in its structure some neutral safety bands. For this reason, in the event of a problem, intervention would be made in the area of the problem with easy identification.
Is your installation very expensive? And its maintenance?
No. We verified that it is within the values of other heating systems, with a great advantage in reaching a high level of comfort and well-being. In relation to maintenance it is zero.
Can this system be installed under any pavement?
In principle, it can be installed under any type of pavement, since there are different powers of the suitable foil for each pavement, except those that are insulating to 100%
Can there be some kind of problem with wooden floors?
Remember that the pavement only reaches 29ºC. It must be taken into account that this temperature does not affect the wood at all, although it is important that the wood is dry, with a degree of humidity not higher than 8%. With our heating system and given the experience obtained in our facilities, there is no problem in being able to reduce this humidity, putting it into operation, if we doubt the optimum level of drying.
