A question that our clients sometimes ask us.

We do not recommend installing radiant foil under fixed furniture in direct contact with the floor, such as divan beds, wardrobes or kitchen furniture.

We'll explain it with a simple example….

HEAT CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED TO THE ENVIRONMENT PROPERLY

If the furniture is in direct contact with the floor, the heat gets trapped and is not distributed properly.

The objective of the Cecather electric radiant foil system is to keep us in a comfort situation inside our home, so the first thing we will have to define are the conditions that limit this state.

It seems logical to think that the thermal sensation that each person can perceive depends largely on the physical activity they are doing at that moment, since sitting is not the same as practicing sports.

Factors such as the clothing you wear or simply your age, weight or build are also important.

If we compare the human body to a “machine” that generates heat through its metabolism, we can understand the feeling of comfort as a thermal balance between the heat generated by the human body and the environment that surrounds it. When the balance is broken, either because we lose too much heat or because we are unable to dissipate it, the individual perceives a feeling of discomfort.
